Biomedical Waste Management Training

"Initial" or "Refresher" training for employees who handle or transport biomedical waste as a part of their  job responsibilities

In accordance with the State of Florida 

Chapter 64E-16.003(2)(a) Florida Administrative Code

"All employees handling biomedical waste must receive annual training on the management of biomedical waste."

  Biomedical Waste Management Training

     Applies to generators and transporters of biomedical waste as well as storage and treatment facilities 

" Initial" training must be provided for new personnel prior to the commencement of duties related to biomedical waste handling               

     "Refresher" training to be conducted annually for all personnel who handle biomedical waste

     Fulfills Florida Department of Health, Chapter 64E-26 FAC initial and refresher training requirement

     Certificate awarded to document successful completion of the training 

FAQ

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes.  At the end of each course you will be prompted to download and print your certificate to document fulfilment of the training requirement

Will I be able to pick-up where I left off or do I have to start the course from the beginning?

You will be able to continue where you left off; stop and start at anytime.  However, you are required to complete each chapter before moving on to the next chapter

Is there a quiz?

Yes.  There is a quiz after each chapter.  We want to make sure that you have a clear  understanding of the course content

How quickly will I receive the link for the training?

Immediately. Once the payment is processed, a link to the training is immediately sent to the email provided at the time of the purchase and the purchaser can begin the course at anytime.

 If you are purchasing more than 2 course links - an email for the links will be sent within 1-4 hours after purchase

What is the process if I purchase 3 or more links?

Once you have purchased the online training course and the payment is processed, a link to the training is immediately sent to the email provided at the time of the purchase and that person can begin the course at anytime

 If you are purchasing more than 2 course links, then follow the instructions at checkout - it includes submitting the following information: 

• Employee name
• Employee email address 
• Job title

Once this information is received, all employees will receive a link within 1-4 hours and are enrolled in the course(s) -  they can begin at anytime
