WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE A "TIER 2" MEMBERSHIP?

 

If you have 50-100 employees who are required to have annual OSHA & HIPAA training, then our membership subscription is your best choice!

 

"Tier 2" Membership allows employers to purchase our ONLINE training courses in bulk and at a discounted rate 

 

Enrolled employees will have access to the following online courses: 

 

o    OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens 

o    OSHA Personal Protective Equipment

o    HIPAA Privacy, Security & Breach Notification 

 

Employers will not only fulfil the training requirements, but enrolling in the “Tier 2” Membership will relieve the stress on administrators who need to keep track of training dates for employees by providing 24/7 access to our courses 

 


 

AVOID HEFTY PENALTIES and train “NEW HIRES” promptly

 

OSHA requires new hires to have “initial” training prior to the commencement of duties

o   View the employees progress in the courses (% viewed, % completion)

o   Export progress reports for your records and

o   Receive access to trainings via a share link

 EMPLOYEES will be able to:

o   Access training anywhere, anytime, stop and start where they left off

o   Work at their own pace

o   Take a quiz after each chapter

o   Receive a weekly reminder if training is not completed

o   Download their completion certificate(s)

WHAT WILL EMPLOYEES HAVE ACCESS TO?

WE HAVE "NEW HIRES" WHEN DO THEY NEED TO BE TRAINED?

 

Ñ      “Initial” training is required by OSHA & HIPAA prior to the commencement of duties

 

o   Integrating our OSHA & HIPAA “Tier 2” Membership courses as a part of your onboarding process would give full access to our courses for up to 100 employees, thereby fulfilling the “initial” training requirement for new hires   

 

 

WHAT INFORMATION WILL THE ADMINISTRATOR BE ABLE TO ACCESS?

 

Ñ      A manager/designee who is assigned the role can log-in and: 

o     Gain access via a share link

 

o     View the employees name and email address

o      View the employees progress in the courses 

o     Export progress reports for your records

 

 

 

 DOES THE ADMINISTRATOR/DESIGNEE HAVE TO BE "ASSIGNED" A ROLE?

 

Ñ      No, if the administrator chooses not to be "assigned" as the administrator, Biomed can provide the following add ons (weekly, monthly or quarterly) for a one-time fee:

WHAT IS THE PROCESS ONCE MEMBERSHIP IS PURCHASED?

 

Ñ      Once the membership is purchased, you will need to email the names, email addresses and job titles of all employees or new hires (excel template) and we will:

o    Enroll your employees in the course

o    Email a link to each employee

o    Keep track of how many links have been assigned

o   Provide access link for Manager or other designee

o    Provide a weekly, monthly or quarterly employee progress report as necessary  

The report will include:  

*         Course name

*         Facility name 

*         Employees name 

*         Email address

*         Employee's progress in the assigned courses (% viewed, % completion)

 

 

WHY IS THERE A SEPARATE COURSE FOR THE PRIVACY & SECURITY OFFICERS?


Ñ      Administrators who are also Privacy &/or Security Officers must understand how to apply the HIPAA requirements for their organization in order to avoid breaches and maintain compliance

 

Ñ      Our HIPAA for Administrators course offers a more in-depth training to bring awareness of the HIPAA Privacy & Security Officer’s role and obligation under the rule
