Annual and refresher training for ALL employees who have exposure to bloodborne pathogens in the workplace
Maintain an Exposure Control Plan
Maintain an Hazard Communication Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Safety & Prevention Plan

WHO NEEDS THIS TRAINING?

Any employee who has the POTENTIAL for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious diseases as they perform their job duties. It includes the following:

Physician/Provider team members
Dental office team members
Laboratories personnel
Veterinary clinic team members
Tattoo & piercing
MedSpa Center team members
Hospital team members
Skilled nursing or convalescent hospital team members
Healthcare clinic team members
Dialysis clinics team members
Surgical clinic team members
Funeral home team members
Biomedical waste transporter drivers and warehouse staff
Biomedical waste transfer and treatment facilities warehouse staff

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1030 requires that:

Employees must be trained at the time of initial assignment on tasks where occupational exposure may take place
When new or modified tasks or procedures affect a worker's occupational exposure
Employers must also provide training at least ANNUALLY thereafter and within one year of the previous training

Complete and return the questionnaire or schedule an appointment to receive assistance to complete the questionnaire (Time will vary depending on the size of the facility)
Once Biomed has receive your completed questionnaire, we will begin to develop your personalized manual
Manuals are mailed within 7-14 days
An email will be sent requesting a date and time for a phone session with the administrator or designee to highlight key areas of the manual (between 15 min - 1 hour depending on the size of the facility)
