This OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training fulfills OSHA 1910.1030 requirement for:
- "Initial training" for new facilities on YOUR facility’s policies and procedures as documented in your OSHA safety manual
- Annual "Refresher" training for existing facilities on YOUR facility’s policies and procedures as documented in your OSHA safety manual
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 (g)(2) Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, states that:
"Employers shall ensure that all employees with occupational exposure participate in a training program...Training must be provided at the time of initial assignment to tasks where occupational exposure may take place and when new or modified tasks or procedures affect a worker’s occupational exposure. Employers must also provide training at least annually thereafter and within one year of their previous training. The training must include an explanation of the employer's Exposure Control Plan."
