”A covered entity must train all workforce members on its privacy policies and procedures, as necessary and appropriate for them to carry out their functions.”
This training is required for ALL employees who handle PHI or ePHI in the workplace including but not limited to:

Our online course must be purchased for EACH employee who will then be able to:
- Receive their unique login and have full access to the course(s)
- Work at their own learning pace
- Save where they left off and resume the course until it is completed
- Complete each chapter and quiz in sequence prior to moving on to the next chapter
- Retake the quiz and review previous lessons
- Receive a weekly reminder if the course has not been completed within the specified time
- Download outline(s) and handout(s)
- Courses are ONLINE and ON DEMAND
- Stop and start at anytime, pick-up where you left off
- A training certificate is awarded after successful completion of the course and may be downloaded and printed
- Quiz at the end of each chapter to test your understanding of the course content

- Select the type of training you would like to purchase (HIPAA only or or OSHA/HIPAA/DOH combo training)
- Select the number of employees attending the training
- Click on the Schedule training option, complete the check out page and choose a date and time that is convenient for your facility (we will send an email to confirm)
- Select the ONLINE training course you would like to purchase
- Select the number of links/employees required
- Once you have purchased one of our online training courses and the payment is processed, a link to the training is immediately sent to the email provided - and begin the course at anytime
- If you are purchasing 5 or more links, email the following information in an Excel spread sheet:
- Employee name
- Employee email address
- Job title
- Once this information is received, all employees are sent a link and enrolled in our course(s)
- Begin the course at anytime

Here's how it works
- Once you've made your purchase, you will receive an email with a questionnaire
- Complete and return the questionnaire or schedule an appointment to receive assistance to complete the questionnaire (Time will vary depending on the size of the facility)
- Schedule a date and time for a HIPAA Risk Analysis (Time will vary depending on the size of the facility)
- Schedule a mutually agreeable date and time for an onsite assessment of the facility (Time will vary depending on the size of the facility)
- Once Biomed has receive your completed questionnaire, we will begin to develop your personalized manual
- Manuals are mailed within 7-14 days
- An email will be sent requesting a date and time for a phone session with the administrator or designee to highlight key areas of the manual (between 15 min - 1 hour depending on the size of the facility)
