HIPAA PRIVACY, SECURITY & BREACH NOTIFICATION
"Initial" training for new employees as required by 45 CFR 164.530(b) & 164.530(a)(5)(i) and "Periodic training" for existing employees who handle personal health information

"A covered entity must train all workforce members on its privacy policies and procedures, as necessary and appropriate for them to carry out their functions."

Training for general workforce employees who handle protected health information (PHI) or electronic protected health information (ePHI)
"Initial" training must be provided for new personnel as a part of the onboarding process; "periodic" or refresher training to be conducted
Required for any entity who handles protected health information in any form including healthcare facilities such as physicians offices, dental offices, pharmacies, home health agencies, hospitals
Fulfills HIPAA's requirement for initial and/or periodic training requirement

FAQWill I receive a certificate?Yes. At the end of each course you will be prompted to download and print your certificate to document fulfilment of the training requirementWill I be able to pick-up where I left off or do I have to start the course from the beginning?You will be able to continue where you left off; stop and start at anytime. However, you are required to complete each chapter before moving on to the next chapterIs there a quiz?Yes. There is a quiz after each chapter. - Job title
One course/link must be purchased for EACH employee who will then be able to:
- Receive their unique login and have full access to the course(s)
- Work at their own learning pace
- Save where they left off and resume the course until it is completed
- Complete each chapter and quiz in sequence prior to moving on to the next chapter
- Retake the quiz and review previous lessons
- Receive a weekly reminder if the course has not been completed within the specified time
- Download outline(s) and handout(s)
